Ginseng Family - Araliaceae
The flower stalk ends in 3 spherical umbels (1.5 to 2 inches wide) consisting of many, small, greenish-white flowers.

A somewhat unique, single long-stalked leaf rising above the leafless flower stalk. The leaf (6 to 15 inches tall) has 3 branching parts with each part divided into 3 to 5 oval, finely toothed leaflets.
