A shrub about 4 to 12 feet tall with alternate, finely toothed, oval to egg shaped.
White flowers ¼ to 3/8 inch wide, with 5 petals, arranged in loose clusters
of 5 or more flowers at the end of short branches. Found along shorelines and wet
