Ferns-template

Individual flowers are approximately 1/2 inch wide with five narrow petals, each of which has occasional red streaks and two red spots at the base. Leaves 2 to 4 inches long, lance shaped, opposite and pointed at both ends.

An erect, 1 to 3 foot tall stem terminates in an elongated spike of bright yellow flowers.
