Pink Family - Caryophyllaceae

Small numbers of flowers in branching terminal clusters and long stalked. Leaves, widely spread on the fine stem, are narrow, opposite and entire.

A low, sprawling herb with 5 deeply cut white petals (so deep they appear as 10 petals) and 5 green, pointed sepals slightly shorter than the petals.
