Ferns-template

From the center of a single whorl of 5 to 9 leaves arises 2 to 3 white flowers on slender stalks. Flattish flowers (about ½ inch wide) generally have 7 pointed, narrow petals with delicate stamens with bright yellow anthers. Leaves, up to 4 inches long, are lance-shaped with a short stalk.
