The 5 petals are veined with darker pink streaks. The 5 stamens have pink anthers. Midway up the stem are a single pair of opposite, narrow, elongated leaves, which taper at both ends.

A smallish plant bearing a loose cluster of pink or white flowers (0.5 – 0.75 inches wide).
