A tall plant (2 to 5 feet) with a loose, much branched flower cluster. Flower heads
small (about ¼ wide), elongated, yellow and dandelion-like. Leaves alternate
and lobed, with very spiny, toothed margins. Bases of leaves rounded and curled,
