Growing as a low thicket less than 3 feet tall. Leaves opposite with entire margins, oval to egg-shaped with a blunt to round tip. Flowers small, pink and white bell-shaped with 4 or 5 short apical lobes. Two to 5 flowers arising at branch tips or from the axils of upper leaves.
