Pyrola or Wintergreen Family - Pyrolaceae
A series of white, waxy-looking flowers (~1/2" wide) hanging from a generally short straight stem (5 to 10" long) that arises from evergreen, basal leaves. Flower style prominent. Leaves dark green, obscurely toothed and longer than wide.
