This rather sparse-looking 8 to 20 inch tall herb has tiny, white, 4-petalled flowers.
Seed pods flat and triangular with a slight apical notch. Stem leaves alternate,
arrow-like with fine teeth and clasp the stem. Basal leaves form a rosette
and are elongated, coarsely toothed and lobed or divided (somewhat dandelion-like
