Ferns-template

Flower (2.5 to 3 inches wide) solitary, nodding, and ill-scented with three maroon to reddish-purple petals. Six yellow stamens and three prominent green sepals. Three entire leaves, in a whorled arrangement, with net-like veining rather than the prominent parallel veining of other trilliums.
