A small erect herb (3 to 12 inches tall) with tiny (about 1/8 inches wide), white
4-petalled flowers, which are almost stalkless and inserted singly into the axils
of the alternating upper leaves. Lower leaves ( 0.5 to 1 inch long) opposite,
narrow and perhaps with a few obscure teeth. (Photographed - late May) |
