Field Sow Thistle

Sunflower Family - Asteraceae

Leaves with many spiny teeth. Leaves may be entire or with deep, smoothly curved, notched lobes. Base of leaves heart-shaped and projecting around the grooved stem.

A bright yellow dandelion-like flower head (about 1" wide) with all ray flowers.
