St. Johnswort Family - Hypericaceae

Branching terminal clusters of golden yellow flowers (3/4 to 1" wide) with slightly fringed petals with black dotted margins. Numerous stamens.  (Photographed - July)

Leaves narrow, 1 to 1.5 inch long, opposite and smoothly margined.
