Ferns-template

Upright and arching stems (the latter not rooting at the tips) covered with many sharp bristles. White flowers (1/2 inch wide) with five petals that are equal to or shorter than sepals. Fruit (composed of drupes) are red. Leaves alternate, toothed and compound.
