Another stout-stalked, tall herb (3 to 7 feet) with a terminal plume of many small
(3/8 to ½ inch wide) deep pink flowers. Each flower with 5 sepals and 5 separate
petals, many stamens and 5 to 7 pistils. Leaves large (up to 8 inches), compound,
sharply toothed and with the end leaflet of greatest size and deeply lobed.
