Ferns-template

In shady woods, an upright, short (4 to 10" high) evergreen plant with opposite to somewhat whorled dark green, shiny, finely toothed leaves. Flowers, which are white to pinkish, 1/2" wide and waxy appearing, in a small cluster on a red stem.
