Sunflower or Composite Family - Asteraceae
Flowerheads, about 1/4 to 3/8 inches wide, formed of all disk flowers with multiple rows of many yellowish-white petal-like bracts. Stems and undersides of the narrow, alternate and elongated leaves (3 to 5 inches long) are white and woolly appearing.
