Flowering Rush Family --- Butomaceae
An introduced species found at the muddy shores of rivers and lakes. Pinkish-white, 3-petalled flowers in umbels at the top of long, rigid stalks. Leaves triangular in cross-section, 1 to 4 feet long and narrow.
