Snapdragon Family - Scrophulariaceae
Flowers 3/4 to 1 inch wide with 5 petals. Leaves large (up to 1 foot long), soft and velvety with the basal ones stalked and arranged in a whorl, while upper leaves are stalkless, entire and alternate.
