A low-growing and prostrate plant with roundish, toothed leaves that have a wavy
outline, prominent veins and a dark green color. Each 5-petalled flower (petals
notched) is pinkish white with darker pink lines, about 0.5 to 0.75 inches wide
and arises in a leaf axil. Leaves up to 1.5 inches in diameter and the plant
can grow to 2 feet in length. Photographed at Seeley's Bay, Ontario - August 2003 |
