A 1 to 3 foot tall shrub-like herb with hairy, woody, red-brown stems and 5-petalled,
yellow flowers that are about ¾ inches wide. Leaves alternate and divided
into 5 to 7 entire, lance-shaped leaflets each ½ to 1 inch long. Underside of leaves
finely hairy and grayish in colour compared to the green upper surface. (Photographed at Eagle Lake - August 31, 2002) |
