Buttercup Family - Ranunculaceae
Basal leaves long-stalked, lobed and similar to upper stem leaves, which are deeply cut into three main segments and coarsely toothed. Stem hairy.
Flowers are pale yellow and about one-third inches wide with the petals about the same length as the sepals. Sepals sharply bent backwards.
