Prickly Gooseberry or Dogberry

Saxifrage Family - Saxifragaceae

Pendant, tubular, small, whitish-green flowers singly or in groups of two or three arising from a leaf axil. Base of flowers, as well as fruit, have prickles or bristles.

Leaves alternate or clustered with variable number of lobes (3 to 7) and toothed. Branches have only scattered prickles.
