Sunflower Family - Asteraceae
One of the group of goldenrods with flowers as one-sided clusters on slightly arching stems, which together form a terminal cluster of considerable size. Flowerheads yellow, quite small (~1/8 inch long), and with short rays. Leaves narrow, lance-shaped, sharply toothed and having three prominent longitudinal veins.
