European Frogbit

A free-floating annual aquatic plant with thick, smooth, round floating leaves. Separate male and female flowers. The 3-petaled pistilate (female) flowers (one per plant) are white in color with a yellow spot in the center and about � inch wide. One to five staminate (male) flowers are contained in spathes borne on 1.5 inch long stalks.
