Each flower (0.5 to 0.75 inches long) is topped by a pair of inflated and widely spread spurs.

A 5 to 9 inch high delicate looking herb with a drooping stem from which dangle a row of waxy, white, yellow-tipped flowers.
Leaves basal and intricately dissected into many narrow segments.
