Petals, dotted with tiny white spots, have slightly notched margins on the outer third. Narrow leaf-like bracts below the flower. (Photographed - July)

Scanty, narrow, opposite leaves on a smooth, rigid stem topped by a few deep pink flowers, 1/2" wide.
