A 1 to 5' high plant with flower heads 1/2 to 3/4 inches wide and 50 to 100 generally white ray flowers with many central yellow disk flowers.

Leaves up to 5" long, hairy, narrow, and toothed, but not clasping the stem, which has noticeable erect hairs.
