Carpetweed

Masses of a prostrate herb with radially arranged branches, leaves in whorls of 6 and small (ź inch) flowers on relatively long stalks arising from the leaf axils. Each flower has only sepals (5) with the inner surface white (may have greenish streaks) and the outer surface green. Leaves about ˝ to 1 inch in length, entire and wider towards the tip.
