Leaves short (0.5 to 0.75 inches long), usually in whorls of 4 (may be up to 6) and not numerous. (Photographed - June)
A square and weak stemmed, sprawling herb with the leaves and stem devoid of prickles.
Flowers very small (<1/4 inches wide), white and 4-petalled in quite loose, branching clusters.
