An upright (16 to 24 inches tall) herb with a loose terminal cluster of pink, 4-petalled
flowers (about 1 inch wide). Seed pods flattened and expanded to form a
thin round to oval disk. |
Leaves alternate with lower ones triangular-shaped with a broad (3 to 5 inch wide)
heart shaped base, bluntly toothed, velvety feeling and a long petiole. |
