Honeysuckle Family - Caprifoliaceae
Underside of leaves with many soft hairs on the main veins. Two bristle-like bracts (stipules), longer than the stalks, at the base of each leaf stalk.
Smallish shrubs (generally 3 to 4 feet tall). Leaves opposite with short stalks (about 0.25" long) and sharp prominent teeth.
Small, creamy-white flowers arranged in a stalked, flatish, terminal cluster about 1 to 3 inches in diameter. (Photographed - early June)
