Leaves very finely toothed, alternate, and shiny bright green and lacking hairs on both surfaces. Characteristic blue fruit. (Photographed - May and July/August)

A low branching and bushy shrub with clusters of several small, bell-shaped white flowers (occasionally tinged with pink) edged with five tiny lobes.
