Pink Family - Caryophyllaceae

Calyx expanded, bladder-shaped, pale green and quite veined. White flowers, with 3 styles and deeply notched petals, ranging in size from 1/2 to 3/4" in width.

Leaves opposite, elongated, entire and often clasping the stem. (Photographed - late June)
