Leaves 2 to 7 inches long, finely but sharply toothed and with lower leaves having
a heart-shaped base. Stem has a slight zig-zag appearance. (Photographed - August) |
White flowerheads (3/4 to 1 inch wide) in a flattish loose cluster. Each flowerhead
about 1 inch wide with 6 to 10 white ray flowers and a central yellow disk that
gradually changes to bronzy-purple. |
