Leaves in small groupings and generally a somewhat elongated triangular shape tapering
gradually to a point. Leaflets, thickish, deep green, appearing paired but
slightly alternate, are joined at their bases. |
An evergreen, low-growing (4 to 12 inches tall) fern usually found in clusters or
forming extensive mats over rocky outcroppings. |
Spore producing bodies (sori) as two rows of reddish brown dots on the lower surface
